About Essex House
The Essex House Condominium complex was built in 1984 and consist of 12 buildings containing garden-style condos. There are 200 units in the community. Each unit is assigned one parking space per unit, with additional visitor parking available on a first-come basis.
Essex House is part of the Manchester Lakes Master Association and residents have access to all community amenities. These include two pools, a fitness center, a community rec center, a basketball court, tennis courts, and a children's playground.
Essex House is located in the Kingstowne area, which is an urban community of over 5300 homes located in Alexandria, Virginia, just 12 miles from the nation's capital. Its location provides quick access to the Capital Beltway and the Franconia-Springfield and Van Dorn Street Metro stations on Washington's Metrorail system.

A large shopping mall, Springfield Town Center is less than two miles away.
Enjoy the Kingstowne Farmer's Market -- May to October from 3-7 p.m. The market is located in the Giant parking lot across from Sunoco gas station on Kingstowne Blvd. near S. Van Dorn. Select from a variety of fresh produce, dairy products, baked goods, herbs, nuts, meats, honey and flowers.
